Uncle Sam Wants You To Grow Chickens!

Wow- during war time they put out this poster and it was considered
your patriotic duty to have chickens. Something to think about!
They advertized that 2-3 chickens could sustain a family.

What would you & I do without a grocery store?
Do you comprehend how hard it would be to make meals!!!
I began thinking of this while shopping the other day and had to calm myself.
It is a most diffucult life above the grocery line and I am fearful that many
dont have what it takes to dig in and make it work.

My family is getting our teeth cut in and aquiring a “can do” mindset
—just in case. If your children have a cush life and can do nothing
with all the modern conviences I suggest you start weening and learning
how to do things the “old fashioned way” as a fun “family project”!
Chickens are a great beginning point. If you start out on a small scale
I think even urban areas could grow them very easily and discretely.
